At the 29th regular annual meeting of Slovenian telecommunications experts VITEL 2013, which took place on 27 and 28 May 2013 at Brdo, Vafer presented its view on the challenges and possible solutions to the implementation of the strategy of reusing existing infrastructure to achieve the objectives of the EU Digital Agenda.
The study comprehensively addresses the problem of managing the existing infrastructure of public communications networks and other public infrastructure in order to reduce costs for the construction of high-speed communication networks.
Constituting part of the study presented at VITEL was a survey of public communications networks operators that are largest prospective investors in which they provided their opinions on the current use of public communications and other infrastructure, and proposed measures to be taken in order to effectively and efficiently reduce costs.
