Vafer offers its clients specialized training and skill transfer in conjunction with third party partners, providing tailor-made individual courses and workshops for small groups related to issues pertaining to the:
- EU regulatory framework;
- interconnection;
- network access, including local loop unbundling (LLU) and mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs);
- analysis of relevant markets; and
- customer protection.
All training seminars are designed to meet the specific demands of clients. Coaching may be conducted at Vafer’s premises or at the client’s, and is headed by Vafer consultants, contract experts and academicians.
Several courses offered by Vafer are provided in co-operation with the Laboratory for Telecommunications’ ICT Academy at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana. These courses and training programmes combine high quality content in accordance with current technology research, and take place in state-of-the-art lecture halls and laboratories where participants can acquire hands on experience using state-of-the-art equipment. At the completion of the course work attendees are issued a certificate of attendance, indicating the achievement of the course objectives and seminar topics, as well as the acquired level of knowledge.
